Was there in Feb. There were not many people camping, maybe three small groups and they seem to have dogs. I did not have a dog but I did notice a pack of wild dogs running around the area and if I remember these same dogs have been here for years.
: I just spent two months in la paz and took my two pups to balandra and tecolote many times with no problems. no problems with them at the restaurant playa tecolote either . someone did say that the police shot and posoined the wild dogs there which were are problem last summer. also I heard that last winter there was a problem with dogs eating sea slugs washed up so i always try to moniter what there finding as they do love dead creatures!
: : Hi. I'm planning a trip to La Paz in October. I'll be driving down from San Diego, hopefully with my dog! There will be a couple of outtings that he will not be able to go on, so I'm wondering if anybody knows of any pet sitters/doggie daycare/short-term boarding available in La Paz. Beach rules about dogs? (Somebody told me that dogs may not be allowed on the beach at Tecolote anymore.) If anyone's had their dog with them recently, I'd love to hear about it! It's been 10yrs since I've been there & I wasn't a pet parent at the time, so I didn't really pay attention to those kinds of details.
: : Any info/advice you have will be appreciated.
: : Thanks!
