Last may it was very new to enter at TJ, a little more time consuming and when parked at the trucks with boats area, the pretty fed girl directed us to the office, where we did see official dogs, ready to search. No problemo. There are sill a ton of army checks going down Hwy 1, a pain in the neck. WE did cross back at Tecate after the border gate guy told me that we were SO FORTUNATE not to have to be sent on to secondary inspection because they were short-handed that day. OH,THANKS,JACKASS! I'm getting too old for this nazi crap!

: We flew to the Cabo area in Nov. When we arrived at the airport the customs folks had dogs checking luggage for meat and fruit products. I was wondering if the same thing is going on when one crossed the border while driving. We are driving to Rocky Point in a couple weeks and just wondering what to expect. I have only been checked once in 13 years of driving. Thanks, Dave
