Prerequisite: MATH 9B (or MATH 9HB) with a grade of "C-" or better.
 
Major Exams: Midterm exam on Tuesday, May 1, during regular lecture.
Final exam for section 30 on Thursday, June 14, from 7pm to 10pm.
Final exam for section 40 on Tuesday, June 12, from 8am to 11am.
Note: All exams will be comprehensive. Calculators may not be used during exams.
 
Course Components:   400 points for homework assignments and quizzes,
300 points for the midterm exam,
300 points for the final exam.
 
Grading: 900-1000 points are required for the grade A,
800-899 points are required for the grade B,
700-799 points are required for the grade C,
600-699 points are required for the grade D.
 
Attendance: Students are expected to attend every lecture and every meeting of their discussion section. Homework assignments are due at the beginning of each lecture. Work missed due to absence, lateness, or late enrollment cannot be made up. In particular, no late work will be accepted and there will be no make-up exams or quizzes.
