Prerequisite: MATH 9B (or MATH 9HB) with a grade of "C-" or better.
 
Major Exams: Midterm exam on Monday, 02/06/2006, during regular lecture hour.
Final exam on Thursday, 03/23/2006, from 8:00am to 11:00am.
Note: All exams will be comprehensive. Calculators may not be used during exams.
 
Course Components:   100 points for homework assignments,
200 points for quizzes,
300 points for the midterm exam,
400 points for the final exam.
 
Grading: 900-1000 points are required for the grade A,
800-899 points are required for the grade B,
700-799 points are required for the grade C,
600-699 points are required for the grade D.
 
Attendance Policy: Students are expected to attend all lectures and every meeting of their discussion section. Work missed due to absence or lateness cannot be made up. In particular, no late work will be accepted and there will be no make-up exams.
