ABOUT ME

In July 2008 I began a tenure-track position at the University of California, Riverside. Before that, I was a Tamarkin Assistant Professor (aka postdoc) at Brown, and before that I was a student at the University of Texas at Austin, and before that I was a student at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. I have been studying the mathematical problems of incompressible fluid mechanics, focusing primarily on the question of whether solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations converge to a solution of the Euler equations in the vanishing viscosity limit in various settings.
