  Conducted research on algebraic quantum field theory relevant to my dissertation.

  Conducted statistical analysis of clustering in paleoanthropological data using the EM (expectation-maximization) algorithm; also conducted time-series analysis using brownian models of biological evolution.

• Summer research intern at LAEFF (Laboratory for Space Astrophysics and Fundamental Physics), in Villafranca del Castillo, Spain.

  Conducted statistical analysis of galaxy clustering in Hubble Deep Field data, searching for evidence of fractal behaviour (self-similarity and power-law distributions).
