Ms. Chiung-ju Liu from UCI

Title: Bando-Futaki Invariants on Hypersurfaces.

Abstract: In 1999, Lu and Yotov each proved that the Futaki invariant on 
complete intersections only depends on (1) the degree of the defining 
polynomials, (2) the dimension of the underlying projective space, and 
(3) the given holomorphic vector field. In my thesis, the Bando-Futaki 
Invariants on hypersurfaces are given as constants depending on (1), (2) 
and (3), which generalizes Lu and Yotov’s result. In this talk, I'll state 
these results.
