As a supplement to the professor's lectures and our discussion sessions, consider watching the videos on Fourier analysis from Grant Sanderson, better known as 3Blue1Brown. If you have not heard of him already, he is amazing in explaining the motivation and intuition behind several areas of mathematics, while not being too rigorous. I have linked below his videos on material relevant to our MATH 147 course.
